Opens the African Heritage Month in Honduras

This day was held at the Event Hall of the Municipality of La Ceiba, the Inauguration of the African Heritage Month in Honduras Legislative Decree 330-2002 by Mr. Carlos Aguilar,
Municipal Mayor of La Ceiba, on this important event was attended by the Lord Venancio Wise, Governor of the Department of Atlantida Politico, ODECO board members, representatives of
different organizations, civil and military authorities, Garifuna Dance Groups, and members of the Afro-Honduran communities of Sambo Creek, Corozal, New Armenia, Monte poorly and La Ceiba.

Similarly, in the Francisco Morazan Salon Government House, His Excellency the Constitutional President of the Republic, Mr. Porfirio Lobo Sosa, opened the Month African Heritage in Honduras, in the company of Mr. Luis Francisco Green Ministers of the Secretary of State for Indigenous Peoples and Afro, Lic. Ana Pineda, Secretary of Human Rights, Attorney Casildo Celeo Alvarez, Prresidente of ODECO.
